On 27 August 2009, Clement Bayela, a waiter at Cabana Beach Dulce, received the Ambassador of the Month awards for August 2009 from Southern Sun Manager, Rob Klambt. His citation was “for delivering compelling guest and employee experience through living our values”. Clement is particularly responsible for service at the Adult Swimming Pool in the resort which is some distance from the Dulce itself. This award reflects his ability to provide excellent service even when disadvantaged by distance. The picture shows Clement with his certificate.
This is an awesome award and inspires waiters nationwide. I was once a waiter and I know that it is very difficult to please customers even when the distance is short.
